I’ve already written TWO blog posts on sports bras for bigger boobs (you can find them here and here). They continue to be two of my most-clicked posts so I’m guessing it’s not just me who’s continually on the look out for the perfect sports bra.
If you’re itty bitty, the choice is much wider (refer to my friend Hollie’s faves here). But it’s a tougher search if your bust is more, shall we say, ample.
I’m a 12DD (34DD) so I know what it’s like to walk past the delicate little strappy numbers and head towards the hammocks.
Thankfully, more and more brands are making sports bras for the bigger boobs these days, and I’ve been road-testing a few that you might like to know about.
This bra has moulded cups, which I love because it gives a nice shape under your tank. Cute shade – Hyper Melon – that adds a nice pop of colour to my usual all-black-everything outfits. There are other colour ways to choose from too, and the straps can be converted to cross-over to wear under racer-backs.
This bra is billed as one for a B/C Cup but I fit into the size 8 (that’s lulu sizing remember, an Aussie 12) just fine.
It’s really comfortable, particularly the soft straps. Probably best for lower impact sports if you’re big-boobed. It has pockets for pads if you like them (I do, not because I need my boobs to look bigger but because I like the shape – let’s not forget I’m not the perky little 20 year old I once was!).
This is another comfy bra that I love for lower impact activities. Love the monochrome version (it also comes in all-black, and a pink/red), it’s great for yoga or weights, and comes in at a really good price point (just $30).
Coming in 15 colour-ways, this best seller is comfy and designed to reduce bounce by 50%, making it ideal for high impact sports. The straps are convertible and there are mesh panels to keep you cool when you’re getting your sweat on.
If it’s good enough for Serena Williams…
This crop isn’t specifically made by cup size or even for the bigger bust, but it works. The compression fabric keeps the girls in place and the high neck is perfect for spin class under a muscle tee.
Team it with the high waist matching tights and you can hit the gym in big style.
Love this bra – if you want to, there’s pockets to put things in, like your locker key I guess, but I just love it because it’s wear-all-day-comfortable, has good support and a flattering neckline.
Such a cute colour and probably one of the most feminine bras you’ll get your big boobs into. I wouldn’t run in it, but I’ve worn it to yoga and to the gym and have loved the girly feeling of all those pretty straps.
Another Berlei bra for high impact sports, this bra feels feminine at the same time as being ultra supportive. The fabric is gorgeous and the colour-way on mine (dusky pinks and neon melons) is lovely. Straps can be worn two ways so there’s versatility there too.
There you go, ladies, a few more sports bras to choose from.

Thanks, and take care of those precious puppies 😉
