Everyone needs a friend like Heidi from The Raw Treat Canteen. I can’t imagine life without all the deliciousness she brings to it. This is the latest yummy recipe from the creator of the famous Salted Caramel Bliss Balls, and I love it.
1.5 cups of dried apple
1 cup of pitted dates
1 cup of almonds
1/2 cup of coconut
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon linseeds
Throw seeds in Thermomix or food processor & blitz for 15 seconds. (Or do as I did and use flaxseed/linseed meal already ground down and skip this bit)
Throw in all other ingredients & process until the mixture becomes sticky enough to roll into balls. It may take a minute for the oil from the nuts to be released bringing the mixture together.
Roll into balls, dust in desiccated coconut, store in the fridge & enjoy.
