I know, I know, it’s an early call… P.E Nation only launched two months ago, but to be honest, I knew I was going to love all things P.E Nation even before I saw the first collection’s pieces.
Because Pip Edwards is my ultimate style crush #justsaying.
And because I love black. I love colour blocking. I love retro. I love sporty. I love comfy. And I love tomboy.
P.E Nation has all this in spades, and more.
Each new week seems to see the launch of an activewear label, and the sportsluxe athleisure look doesn’t seem to be going anywhere too soon (thank goodness, otherwise what would I wear?). I honestly like most of it, I really do, but with PE Nation, well, I more than like it; was love at first sight.
What sets P.E Nation apart from most of the new crop of labels is that, actually, it is so DIFFERENT. There is a definitive look, a strong vibe, and it’s like no other brand on the market.
The details are both intricate and fun. Zip off sleeves, anyone? Well why the hell not? Thumbholes and double layer hoodies? Yes please.
When Pip Edwards and her friend and former Sass & Bide colleague Claire Tregoning came up with the idea more than a year ago, they struck fit fashion gold. Anticipation levels were high and I don’t know about you, but I was practically frothing at the mouth with every insta post in the run up to launch date.
We all went gaga for it, didn’t we? And all over instagram I see the checkerboards, the orange, the zips, the colourful logo…. P.E Nation is so hot right now.
Here are some of my favourite looks from the launch collection, and a couple of sneaky peaks from the new range, which will be going live tomorrow (Friday 13th – I think it’ll be lucky for some).
Ready, set GO, tomboy, GO!
