Another super delish recipe from my gorgeous friend Heidi of The Raw Treat Canteen.
These Healthy Jam Drops are so easy to make. You can use any kind of flour you like (so if you’re not worried about gluten free, knock yourself out with regular flour), and you can taste the extra health from those crunchy little chia seeds.
2 cups of flour, of your choice (regular, wholemeal, brown rice, oat, spelt, buckwheat, gluten free…)
1 cup almond meal
2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 tablespoons linseed meal
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup rice malt syrup or maple syrup
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
Line two baking trays with baking paper.
Just mix all the ingredients (apart from the jam) together in a bowl, roll into balls and place on the baking tray. Then push your thumb into the middle to make a well for your favourite jam. Drop in a dollop.
Bake the Jam Drops for around 15 minutes, until lightly browned. Let them cool for a few minutes on the tray before transferring to a wire rack.
